Every row is one colour, worked in single crochet through the back loop; the diamonds appear where double crochets drop down two rows and carry their colour over the row behind them. No carrying yarn, no bobbins. Every band has a chart and every row is written out stitch by stitch, with the count. The tails at the row ends are knotted in pairs and enclosed in the border as you work it — nothing to weave in.
